OT Incharge / Nursing Superintendent / Surgeon
Job Summary:
The OT Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining the operation theatre, assisting surgeons and nurses during surgeries, handling surgical instruments, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards inside the OT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operation theatre before surgery
- Sterilize surgical instruments and OT equipment
- Assist doctors and nurses during surgical procedures
- Arrange surgical instruments, drapes, and consumables
- Maintain OT cleanliness and infection control standards
- Check and maintain OT machines and equipment
- Transfer patients safely to and from OT
- Maintain surgery records and inventory
- Ensure availability of medicines and surgical supplies
- Follow hospital safety and biomedical waste protocols
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Operation Theatre Technology
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply
- Knowledge of OT procedures and sterilization techniques
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in shifts and emergency situations
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of surgical instruments
- Basic life support knowledge
- Infection control practices
- Emergency handling skills
Pay: ₹10,597.29 - ₹40,659.37 per month
