We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing suitable career-oriented courses and support them throughout the admission process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counselling, and sales skills with a strong focus on student satisfaction and admissions growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and training programs.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, and walk-ins.
- Convert leads into admissions by providing accurate course information and guidance.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Conduct counselling sessions and course presentations.
- Achieve monthly admission targets and support business growth.
- Maintain student databases, enquiry records, and admission reports.
- Coordinate with faculty and management to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Assist in planning promotional activities, seminars, and career guidance programs.
- Mentor junior counsellors and support the admissions team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification.
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, education sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple enquiries and work in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam.
