The role:
We are hiring Survey Programmers and Senior Survey Programmers to join Talentra in India, embedded full time with a leading global market research and insights firm. You will build and deploy high quality online surveys and work as a fully integrated member of the client’s research operations team. Seniority reflects depth of Decipher experience and project complexity, not a different role.
Day to day:
- Build, test, and deploy online questionnaires on Decipher and the client’s proprietary survey platform (training provided).
- Implement survey logic, quotas, validation, and multi language scripting where required.
- Troubleshoot and amend live surveys, resolving scripting issues raised by the delivery team.
- Apply rigorous QA and link testing before every launch.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality or timelines.
- Work closely with project managers and analysts to meet client standards.
- Support continuous improvement of scripting standards and templates.
- Senior: lead complex and high priority builds, set scripting standards, and QA other programmers’ output.
What we’re looking for:
- Survey Programmer: 1 to 2 years of hands-on survey programming experience.
- Senior Survey Programmer: 2 to 5 years, including ownership of complex builds.
- Decipher experience is essential at both levels.
- Experience with XML and Python for advanced Decipher survey logic.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Desirable, not essential:
- Familiarity with other platforms such as Confirmit or Qualtrics.
- Multi language scripting and exposure to API integrations.
