ACME School, Vijayawada is looking for a dynamic and engaging Social Studies Teacher for the Primary Wing. The teacher should be capable of making social concepts interesting, relatable, and easy to understand while developing awareness, communication, and critical thinking skills among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Studies for Classes 1–5 according to CBSE curriculum standards.
- Deliver lessons clearly using storytelling, discussions, activities, maps, and visual aids.
- Encourage students to understand society, environment, culture, and civic values.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and assessments.
- Conduct interactive classroom activities to improve student participation.
- Maintain academic records and monitor student progress.
- Participate in school programs, events, and parent interactions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.
- Prior CBSE experience is an advantage.
