We are looking for a smart, confident, and target-driven Course Counselor for our Nirman Vihar center who can guide students and parents, handle inquiries, and convert leads into admissions.
Job Summary
The Course Counselor will be responsible for managing walk-ins, calling fresh and existing leads, understanding student needs, suggesting suitable courses, and converting inquiries into admissions. The role requires strong communication skills, counseling ability, follow-up discipline, and a pleasant personality.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend walk-in inquiries at the center and counsel students and parents about suitable courses
- Call and follow up with leads received from digital campaigns, website inquiries, references, and other sources
- Understand the student’s background, interest, career goal, and budget before suggesting the right program
- Explain course details clearly, including curriculum, duration, fees, class mode, certification, career scope, and placement support
- Maintain regular follow-up with interested candidates through calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings
- Convert inquiries into admissions and meet assigned admission targets
- Keep proper records of all leads, follow-ups, and admission status in CRM or lead sheets
- Coordinate with the academic and management team for batch schedules, demo classes, and student onboarding
- Build trust with students and parents by giving correct and clear information
- Support the center in admission activities, events, seminars, and promotional campaigns
- Ensure a professional and positive counseling experience for every inquiry
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Strong convincing and counseling skills
- Ability to handle students, parents, and career-related queries with patience and clarity
- Good follow-up and relationship handling skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, email, CRM, and WhatsApp communication
- Sales-oriented mindset with a pleasing personality
- Ability to work on admission targets and daily follow-up plans
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1 to 4 years of experience in education counseling, admissions, training institute sales, EdTech counseling, or similar profile
- Experience in handling inquiries for professional courses, degree programs, or skill-based training will be preferred
- Candidate should be presentable, confident, and result-oriented
- Candidate from East Delhi or nearby areas will be preferred

- Graduate in any discipline
- Candidates with relevant counseling or admission experience will be given preference
