Position - Payroll & Statutory Compliance Executive
Experience : 2–5 Years in Payroll Processing, PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Law Compliance, and Employee Taxation
Job Summary
We are looking for a Payroll & Statutory Compliance Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, employee statutory compliances, labour law compliance, and client coordination. The candidate should have hands-on experience in payroll software(keka,Zoho..etc), statutory filings, and employee lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, and loss of pay.
- Calculate salary, incentives, bonuses, reimbursements, and arrears.
- Generate and share payroll reports and payslips.
- Handle employee salary-related queries.
Employee Master Management
- Create and maintain employee records in payroll software.
- Update employee details such as PAN, Aadhaar, Bank Account, UAN, ESIC Number, and salary structure.
- Manage employee joining, resignation, and transfer records.
Full & Final Settlement
- Process Full & Final settlements for exiting employees.
- Calculate leave encashment, gratuity, notice pay recovery, and other dues.
- Prepare and issue F&F statements.
Income Tax (TDS)
- Collect investment declarations and proofs.
- Calculate monthly TDS deductions.
- Generate Form 16.
- Address employee tax-related queries.
PF Compliance
- Employee registration under EPF.
- Generate and upload ECR files.
- PF International Workers(IW) Return Filings.
- Prepare PF challans and coordinate payments.
- Handle UAN activation, KYC updates, transfers, and withdrawals.
ESIC Compliance
- Employee registration under ESIC.
- Generate monthly contribution reports.
- Process employee additions and exits.
- Assist employees with ESIC benefits.
Professional Tax, Shops and Establishment & LWF Compliance
- Deduct and remit Professional Tax as per state regulations.
- File PT returns and annual compliances.
- Manage Labour Welfare Fund deductions and filings.
- Annual Filings of Shops & Establishment.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws.
- Prepare statutory challans and returns.
- Maintain statutory records and acknowledgements.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Reporting & Reconciliation
- Prepare payroll MIS reports and monthly summaries.
- Generate salary registers, bank transfer statements, CTC reports, and headcount reports.
- Reconcile payroll records with statutory payments and bank statements.
Client Coordination
- Collect monthly payroll inputs from clients.
- Follow up for approvals and statutory payments.
- Share payroll reports, challans, and payslips.
- Handle client queries related to payroll and compliance.
Registrations & Amendments
- PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishment registrations.
- Amendment and address change applications.
- Other labour law registrations and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing.
- PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and Labour Law Compliance.
- Coordination with Labour Department officials and departmental visits, if required.
- Employee Taxation and Form 16 preparation.
- Good understanding of Gratuity, Bonus, and F&F Settlements.
- Excellent communication and client handling skills.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
Software Knowledge
Preferred Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (HR) / Any Graduate with Payroll & Compliance experience.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
