Role Description The Finance Associate role at BrightCHAMPS is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the Finance Associate will assist with the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports to support accurate and timely financial decision-making. Daily responsibilities include maintaining financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The Finance Associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and respond to queries from internal stakeholders and auditors. This role also involves contributing to the improvement of financial reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and data quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge with experience in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess Financial Reporting skills to compile, review, and present accurate financial information to stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting financial insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CFA level) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial tools or ERP systems; comfort working with large data sets and reports.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Prior experience in an edtech, startup, or technology-driven organization is beneficial but not mandatory.
