AutoCAD Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer to create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for engineering and construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD software, engineering drawings, and drafting standards while working closely with project managers, architects, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create engineering drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, and sections.
- Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and design documents.
- Revise and update drawings based on client or project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations.
- Maintain drawing records and project documentation.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation, where required.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality drafting standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may also apply).
- Certification in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Time management and ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred Software Knowledge:
- AutoCAD
- Revit (Preferred)
- SolidWorks / CATIA (for Mechanical projects)
- Civil 3D (for Civil projects)
- MS Office
