To provide academic leadership and administrative oversight for the Primary Section (Grades 1–5) in alignment with CBSE guidelines, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, student development, and overall school functioning.
JD:
● Ensuring that the school vision and development plan are effective and pertinent to the school’s overall goal.
● Work within the school community to translate the vision into agreed objectives and operational plans which will promote and sustain continual school improvement in students’ growth & progression and a sense of team ownership.
● Classroom teaching approximately 8 periods a week and preparing the lesson plan for them.
● Seek opportunities to invite parents, community figures, businesses, or other organization heads into school to enhance and enrich the school and its value to the wider community linking with the events.
● Ensure the school operates within the guidelines of the MOE/State regulatory bodies.
1-Strategic Strategic Planning & Development
· Retention of Student community (attrition less than 8%) of total student population in primary segment.
· Recruitment of highly qualified teachers in coordination with HR.
2- As an Academic Leader
· Implement and monitor the CBSE curriculum for Grades 1–5.
· Ensure effective lesson planning, teaching methodologies, and learning outcomes.
· Guide teachers in adopting activity-based and experiential learning approaches
· Facilitating academic audits and monitoring classroom teaching through observations and feedback.
· Ensure timely completion of syllabus and academic planning.
· Implementing 4Q Learning Framework and Education 4.0
· Strictly adhering and implementing 5C security code.
· Coordinating with department heads for driving new initiatives.
3. People Resource and Development
· Conduct regular teacher training, workshops, and performance reviews.
· Facilitate professional development aligned with CBSE norms.
· Ensure proper allocation of subjects and workload management.
· Improve the overall pool of teachers and staff based on the industry norms.
· To maintain a retention rate of teacher to 90%.
4. Student Development & Discipline
· Promote holistic development—academic, emotional, and social.
· Monitor student progress, assessments, and report cards.
· Address student discipline and behavioral concerns.
· Ensure implementation of inclusive education practices.
5- Administration & Operations
· Oversee day-to-day functioning of the primary section.
· Ensure compliance with CBSE policies and school regulations.
· Manage timetables, substitutions, and academic calendars.
· Ensure that records are maintained related to attendance, assessments, and activities.
· Coordinate school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
6. Parent & Stakeholder Engagement
· Build strong relationships with parents through meetings and communication.
· Address parent concerns effectively and professionally.
Represent the primary section in school leadership meetings.
