We’re looking for a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer who can take raw footage, scripts, and creative briefs and turn them into polished, scroll-stopping video content. You’ll work across multiple brands and IPs, editing short-form and long-form video while creating motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and visual effects that give every piece of content a premium, branded feel.
If you live inside Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, can match your editing style to any brand’s personality, and get genuinely excited about making a 3-second intro animation feel perfect — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Short-Form Video Editing: Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikToks for multiple brand accounts. Add hooks, text overlays, captions, sound design, and pacing that maximizes watch time and engagement.
- Long-Form Video Editing: Edit YouTube videos, brand films, testimonial videos, and campaign content — including cuts, color correction, audio mixing, and pacing for longer narratives.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and animate lower thirds, intro/outro sequences, logo reveals, animated text, data visualizations, infographics, and transition effects using After Effects. Create reusable motion templates for each brand.
- Brand-Specific Visual Systems: Develop and maintain video style guides for each brand/IP you work on — consistent color grading presets, typography animations, transition libraries, and audio signatures that make every brand instantly recognizable.
- Ad Creative Production: Produce video ad creatives for paid social campaigns (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn) — including multiple variations, aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9), and A/B test versions optimized for different placements.
- Carousel & Static Animation: Add motion to carousel posts, infographics, and static designs — subtle animations, kinetic typography, and micro-interactions that elevate standard social content.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain project files, footage libraries, templates, and brand asset folders so that nothing gets lost and any team member can pick up where you left off.
- Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with the Creative Strategist, Social Media Manager, and designers. Take creative briefs, incorporate feedback quickly, and deliver multiple revision rounds without compromising quality or speed. What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- 1–3 years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience (agency, brand-side, production house, or freelance with a strong client portfolio).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro — you edit fast, your timelines are clean, and you know your way around multicam editing, color grading (Lumetri), audio mixing, and keyboard shortcuts.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects — you can build motion graphics from scratch, work with expressions, create kinetic typography, animate logos, and composite visual effects.
- Strong understanding of short-form video best practices — hook pacing, text placement, trending formats, caption timing, and platform-specific requirements (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
- An eye for design, typography, color, and composition — your work doesn’t just move, it looks good.
- Ability to work across multiple brands simultaneously and adapt your editing style, color grading, and motion design to match each brand’s visual identity.
- A portfolio or showreel that demonstrates range — short-form social edits, motion graphics, brand content, and ideally ad creatives.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools for adding depth to motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop for creating or modifying design assets.
- Sound design skills — you can source, edit, and layer audio to elevate the feel of a video.
- Experience editing for paid social campaigns with an understanding of how creative impacts ad performance (hook rates, hold rates, CTR).
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve for advanced color grading.
• Experience with AI-powered video/editing tools (Runway, Pika, CapCut Pro, Descript). • Basic understanding of photography or videography — you know what good footage looks like and can direct a shoot if needed.
Why Join Us?
- Diverse Creative Work: You won’t be editing the same style of video on repeat. You’ll work across multiple brands and IPs with completely different aesthetics, audiences, and creative challenges — which means your reel grows fast.
- Creative Freedom: We give you the brief and the brand guidelines, then trust you to bring the vision to life. You’ll have real input on visual direction, not just be a button-pusher executing someone else’s exact spec.
- Growth Trajectory: We’re scaling fast. Editors who demonstrate creative thinking and reliability will have a clear path to Senior Editor, Motion Design Lead, or Creative Director roles.
- No Corporate Red Tape: Small team, fast feedback loops, direct access to leadership. Your work ships quickly — no waiting three weeks for approvals.
- Modern Tools & Workflows: We use AI-assisted editing tools, automation, and streamlined review processes. You’ll stay ahead of the curve on the tools reshaping the industry.
How to Apply Submit your application with us:
- Your resume/CV.
- A portfolio, show reel, or links to your best video and motion graphics work. Include at least one short-form social edit and one motion graphics piece. If work is under NDA, a personal or spec project reel works.
- A short note (150 words max) answering: “Find any brand’s Instagram Reel that has under 10K views and you think was poorly edited. What 3 specific editing changes would you make to improve its watch time and engagement?” No generic cover letters.
Your reel speaks louder than your resume — make sure it’s strong.
