Job Description
General Summary of role: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Playwright Automation Tester with 3–4 years of experience in web application testing and automation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand feature requirements and create robust test plans.

Execute test cases, report defects, and follow through with resolution and verification.

Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and reliability

Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test suites.

Write and maintain test documentation and reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
-
Test automation using Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript). Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).

Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or TestNG.

Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Good knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control (Git).

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Exposure to Angular or React applications.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Automation Tools (e.g., ISTQB, Playwright, Selenium) are a plus.
