Schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Job Summary
Papillon Paints is seeking a dynamic, result-driven, and highly organized Sales & Operations Manager for our Karukutty operations. In this dual-capacity role, you will not be confined to an office desk. Instead, you will actively spearhead our on-ground external operations, drive retail outlet profitability, and scale our market footprint.
You will completely own the lifecycle of our retail presence—from location scouting and turnkey setup to official store launch—while driving B2B sales networks with contractors and painters, implementing strict quality control, and maximizing revenue across all shops.
Key Responsibilities1. New Retail Outlet Setup & Execution (Turnkey Management)
- Lead the expansion strategy by identifying high-potential retail locations and conducting market feasibility studies.
- Supervise the complete civil and IT infrastructure setup of new stores (interior fit-outs, branding, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and CCTV deployment).
- Own the entire setup pipeline through to inventory stocking and team deployment, managing the process smoothly until the official "Key Handover" and store launch.
2. Outlet Sales, Strategy & Rolling Forecasting
- Design and execute aggressive local marketing, branding, and counter-sales strategies to increase retail footfall and maximize sales volumes.
- Establish, standardize, and audit the operational process flows across all retail outlets (from stock inwarding to daily billing system management).
- Maintain accurate rolling forecasts for sales revenue, inventory demands, and operational expenses to optimize stock levels and budgets.
3. B2B Stakeholder & Influencer Relations (Painters & Contractors)
- Build, nurture, and scale strong commercial networks with local painters, civil contractors, and builders to drive bulk product adoption and brand loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical field issues, swiftly investigating and resolving any paint-related or product performance complaints directly on-site.
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical track records of all contractor interactions, site visits, and field resolutions.
4. CRM, Team Training & Customer Resolution
- Train, mentor, and upskill the counter sales and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams to elevate customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the customer grievance architecture, ensuring complaints are closed rapidly with robust root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Retail Operations, Project Management, Area Sales, or Channel Sales (Experience in Paints, Chemicals, Construction Materials, or Allied industries is highly preferred).
- Skill Set: Strong proficiency in field sales management, project execution (store setups), inventory forecasting, and team leadership.
- Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills to comfortably negotiate with property owners, manage contractors/painters, and resolve customer grievances.
- Technical Knack: Ability to audit standard operational process flows and coordinate infrastructure installations (IT, billing systems, facilities).
- Exclusivity: This is a high-focus, full-time role. Selected candidates must be completely relieved from prior employment liabilities before joining.

- Competitive Base Salary.
- Performance-linked incentive schemes to reward sales growth.
