Computer Teacher Job Description
A Computer Teacher is responsible for educating students in computer science, basic to advanced computing skills, and digital literacy. They help students develop practical knowledge of technology, software, and programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach computer fundamentals, including hardware, software, and operating systems
- Instruct students in programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C++)
- Guide students in using applications like MS Office, internet tools, and educational software
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance
- Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure proper usage
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and teaching methods
- Encourage students to use technology responsibly and safely
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and programming
- Good communication and teaching skills
- Patience and ability to explain technical concepts simply
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Basic classroom management skills
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- B.Ed. (preferred for school teaching positions)
- Relevant certifications (optional but beneficial)
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
