Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Mapping, and Banking Domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models, defining source-to-target mappings, and supporting data validation and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform enterprise data modelling including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design dimensional models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents.
- Develop data mapping and data transformation requirements.
- Build and validate SQL queries for data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and business rules.
- Define data quality controls and validation requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and User Verification Testing (UVT).
- Coordinate with business, testing, and development teams as the primary point of contact.
- Document requirements and obtain business sign-off.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ERwin or other Data Modelling tools.
- Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling.
- Experience with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Experience with SCD Type 1 and SCD Type 2.
- Strong Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) experience.
- Data Mapping expertise.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- ETL concepts and data warehouse experience.
- Strong data comparison, reconciliation, and validation skills.
- Experience defining data quality controls.
- Experience supporting UAT and UVT activities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
