Job Summary:
The Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall administrative operations of the hospital, ensuring smooth functioning of non-clinical services, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination between departments to support high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:1. Hospital Operations Management
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the hospital
- Ensure smooth functioning of OPD, IPD, front office, and support services
- Coordinate between clinical and non-clinical departments
2. Staff Management
- Supervise front office, housekeeping, security, and support staff
- Manage duty rosters, attendance, and discipline
- Assist HR in recruitment, training, and performance monitoring
3. Patient Experience & Service Quality
- Ensure excellent patient service and grievance handling
- Monitor TAT (Turnaround Time) for patient services
- Implement patient satisfaction initiatives
4. Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, legal, and statutory requirements
5. Facility & Vendor Management
- Oversee maintenance of hospital infrastructure and equipment
- Manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts)
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
6. Billing & Financial Coordination
- Monitor billing processes and coordinate with accounts department
- Ensure proper documentation for insurance and corporate patients
- Support cost control and budgeting initiatives
7. Corporate & Insurance Coordination
- Handle corporate empanelment and maintain relationships
- Coordinate with TPA/insurance companies for approvals and claims
8. Inventory & Stores Coordination
- Ensure availability of non-medical supplies
- Coordinate with stores for procurement and stock management
9. Safety & Security
- Ensure hospital safety protocols are followed
- Supervise fire safety, biomedical waste management, and infection control coordination
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Patient satisfaction score
- TAT for admissions, billing, and discharge
- Number of corporate empanelments
- Audit/NABH compliance score
- Cost control and vendor efficiency
- Staff productivity and retention
Qualifications:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Hospital Administration (MHA/MBA Healthcare preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hospital administration
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospital preferred
Skills Required:
