We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to lead and manage overall factory operations for woven shirt production.
Role Overview
The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing complete production operations, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, managing manpower, and improving overall factory efficiency. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in woven shirt manufacturing, production planning, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete factory operations from cutting to packing (Cut-to-Pack).
- Plan and execute production schedules to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) and ensure smooth production flow across all lines.
- Implement line balancing to improve productivity and reduce bottlenecks.
- Ensure strict quality control through inline and end-line inspections.
- Manage manpower planning, allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Improve factory efficiency, productivity, and cost control measures.
- Coordinate with merchandising, stores, cutting, finishing, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders as per production schedule.
- Maintain compliance with factory standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead and supervise production supervisors, line leaders, and factory staff.
Experience Required
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in garment manufacturing.
- Strong experience in woven shirt manufacturing is mandatory.
- Experience in handling end-to-end factory operations.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, line balancing, and quality control.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience working with garment brands or export/domestic manufacturing units preferred.
