Store Manager (Furniture Store)
Role Description
We are hiring a Store Manager to lead day-to-day showroom operations, drive sales performance, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will manage store staff, oversee inventory, and maintain store standards while achieving monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth showroom functioning
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular store reports
- Ensure proper product display, showroom presentation, and merchandising standards
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock availability and delivery schedules
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance monitoring
- Ensure billing, documentation, and store processes are followed correctly
- Maintain relationships with vendors, service teams, and internal departments
- Ensure store compliance with company policies and operational procedures
Requirements
- Graduation preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in retail/store management (furniture preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer handling and sales abilities
- Knowledge of store operations, inventory, and billing systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting
