Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy:

Define and manage product strategy, ensuring it aligns with our Enterprise Data and Analytics strategies.

Integrate business, customer, user, and partner insights to identify high-impact opportunities for data-driven decision-making.

Ensure that relationships and dependencies with other products and teams are clearly understood and work to integrate strategies through shared objectives.

Complete the strategy as part of a dedicated product team.
Product Discovery:

Understand and define key business outcomes and requirements for the product.

Partner with analysts and engineers to evaluate feasibility and business value of use cases, drawing out insights and sharing findings with key partners and team members.

Clearly present hypotheses and guide the product team in generating ideas and conducting experiments.

Facilitate prioritization of work based on feasibility, business value, and alignment with strategic goals.

Operate and improve an effective parallel discovery and delivery model.
Product Delivery:

Collaborate with technology and non-technology partners to ensure successful product delivery.

Work with the team to remove impediments that may hinder value creation.

Break down work to enable frequent release of valuable product changes.

Ensure the product team possesses the necessary context to address problems effectively and efficiently.

Play the role of product owner, collaborating on story creation and refinement, definition, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and acceptance of work as done.

Ensure the team has effective and efficient agile ceremonies and agreements with interdependent teams.

Communicate product releases to collaborators and partners.
Product Assessment:

Ensure every goal-aligned unit of value built by the team(s) is measurable and shows progress towards objectives.

Monitor and communicate product health, impact of product releases, and progress against product goals.

Ensure the product team(s) apply data to gauge performance and inform strategic revision and discovery.

Be accountable for meeting product outcomes.
Collaborator Management and Communication:

Collaborate with business leaders and finance to manage budget, go-to-market strategy, etc.

Communicate key information (strategy, priorities, plans, experiments, results, etc.) regarding the product(s) with collaborators.

Communicate effectively as a member of the product management group supporting a broader product family or portfolio.

Work with collaborators to understand and improve change.
Product Leadership:

Serve as a resource to Associate Product Managers as they develop product experience, knowledge, and skills.

Find opportunities to improve product management practice within your sphere of responsibility and act to continuously improve.
Qualifications:
Qualifications

Minimum 9 years of pertinent experience in Product Management related responsibilities.

Strong data analytics and visualization expertise.

Proven practical experience in managing product lifecycles and planning roadmaps.

Sound understanding of the financial product distribution domain.

Experience working in a product setting and familiarity with the Product Manager position.
-
Experience in critical thinking and decision-making within a professional environment.

Experience coordinating multiple workloads and/or competing priorities in a professional context.

Collaborator and relationship management experience in a professional context.

Proven ability to lead, influence, and negotiate within a professional team setting.

Experience bringing to bear diverse perspectives and using data to inform action.
