The Development Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized developmental intervention programs for infants and children with developmental delays, underdevelopment disorders, and high-risk infants. The therapist works closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals to improve the child’s functional abilities, participation, independence, and developmental outcomes.
The therapist focuses on enhancing developmental domains including motor, cognitive, communication, play, adaptive behavior, sensory processing, and daily living skills through evidence-based and family-centered approaches.
