Planning & Coordination
1. Project Planning
Develop and maintain the overall project master schedule.
Prepare detailed schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
Establish project milestones, targets, and key deliverables.
Develop baseline schedules and update them periodically.
Identify critical path activities and monitor schedule performance.
2. Coordination
Coordinate between the Client, Consultant, Contractor, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and other stakeholders .
Conduct regular coordination meetings and track action items.
Ensure timely flow of information, drawings, approvals, and decisions.
Coordinate interfaces between different disciplines and contractors.
Resolve coordination issues affecting project progress.
3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline schedule.
Collect and validate progress data from contractors.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Analyze schedule variances and identify delays.
Prepare recovery plans for delayed activities.
4. Resource Planning
Monitor manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
Review contractor resource deployment against planned requirements.
Identify resource constraints that may impact project schedules.
Recommend corrective actions to improve productivity.
5. Risk & Delay Management
Identify potential schedule risks and constraints.
Maintain a risk and opportunity register related to project execution.
Analyze causes of delays and their impact on project milestones.
Support preparation of mitigation and recovery strategies.
Monitor implementation of corrective actions.
6. Engineering & Procurement Coordination
Track engineering deliverables, reviews, and approvals.
Monitor procurement activities, including purchase orders and material deliveries.
Coordinate long-lead items with procurement and construction teams.
Ensure engineering and procurement schedules align with construction requirements.
7. Construction Coordination
Coordinate construction activities with approved schedules.
Monitor site progress and identify bottlenecks.
Coordinate work fronts, access, materials, manpower, and equipment.
Ensure construction priorities are aligned with project milestones.
8. Change & Interface Management
Track scope changes and their impact on cost and schedule.
Maintain an interface register between contractors and disciplines.
Coordinate technical and commercial issues requiring multiple stakeholders.
Support the Client in evaluating schedule implications of changes.
9. Meetings & Documentation
Prepare agendas and presentations for coordination meetings.
Record MOMs and maintain action trackers.
Follow up on outstanding actions and commitments.
Maintain planning-related records and documentation.
10. Commissioning & Handover Planning
Integrate testing, commissioning, and startup activities into the master schedule.
Coordinate system-wise completion and handover priorities.
Monitor punch-list closure and readiness for commissioning.
Support final project completion and handover activities.
