About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BMS Doctor to join our team in Jalandhar. The candidate will play a key role in counseling patients suffering from varicose veins, explaining treatment options, assisting in patient education, and coordinating with the medical team to ensure a smooth patient journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel and educate patients regarding varicose veins, symptoms, disease progression, and available treatment options.
- Conduct initial patient assessments and collect medical history.
- Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, benefits, and recovery timelines.
- Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Coordinate consultations between patients and vascular specialists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow up with prospective and existing patients regarding appointments and treatment plans.
- Assist in converting inquiries into consultations through effective patient counseling.
- Support patient retention and improve overall patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BMS degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the respective council (where applicable).
- Freshers may apply; prior counseling or clinical experience will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi preferred.
- Ability to explain medical information in simple, patient-friendly language.
- Good computer and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in patient counseling, healthcare counseling, or clinical coordination.
- Exposure to vascular, surgical, dermatology, or cosmetic healthcare settings is an advantage.
- Experience handling patient queries and follow-ups.
