Job Description (JD) – Counselling Dietician (Teleconsultation)
Location: Remote / Work from Home (Full-time)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Counselling Dietician to provide evidence-based nutrition consultations through teleconsultation. The ideal candidate will assess patient's nutritional needs, develop personalized diet plans, educate patients on healthy lifestyle practices, and provide regular follow-up to help them achieve their health goals. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong clinical knowledge, and the ability to build rapport with patients virtually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one teleconsultations with patients via video or audio calls.
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments using patient history, medical reports, lifestyle, and dietary habits.
- Develop personalized meal plans based on the patient's medical condition, preferences, and goals.
- Counsel patients on nutrition, healthy eating habits, weight management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up consultations and modify diet plans as required.
- Maintain accurate consultation records and update patient information in the system.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition/Dietetics (compulsory)
- 1–2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, hospital, wellness, or teleconsultation settings.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and medical nutrition therapy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to counsel and motivate patients virtually.
- Proficiency in creating personalized diet plans.
- Good understanding of lifestyle disease management.
- Comfortable using teleconsultation platforms and software to maintain patient records.
- Strong documentation and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
