Position Overview
This role supports ACA’s financial reporting and planning activities and assists in servicing Foreside Distribution clients through day-to-day accounting and operational responsibilities. The position plays a key role in regulatory reporting, monthly close processes, and client support within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and perform detailed account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and process intercompany transactions
Prepare monthly financial statements and regulatory reports in compliance with GAAP and FINRA/SEC requirements
Prepare net capital calculations and assist with ongoing monitoring of broker-dealer net capital requirements
Prepare and submit quarterly FOCUS filings
Process annual FINRA registrations and renewal filings
Assist with annual financial statement audits
Prepare and reconcile 12b-1 fees, transaction-based compensation, and other revenue streams
Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly board and management reporting packages
Serve as a primary point of contact for client information requests and reporting needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; accounting or finance preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience
Strong financial analysis capabilities
Advanced understanding of financial and accounting systems
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting or finance
Prior broker-dealer experience
