Delhi Public School, Gaya is looking for a Talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach students music theory, notation, rhythm, and composition
- Provide instruction in singing (vocal) or musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin)
- Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to different skill levels
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and exams
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Organize school concerts, choirs, or bands
- Encourage creativity and appreciation of different music styles and cultures
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of music theory and practice
- Ability to play one or more instruments or teach vocals
- Good communication and teaching skills
- Patience and adaptability with students of different ages
- Creativity and enthusiasm for music
- Organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
- Certification in teaching (varies by country or institution)
- Practical experience in performing or teaching music is often preferred
