Job Summary:
The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, aligning with the high standards of Le Pondy. The role involves meticulous cleaning, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a superior guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:1. Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following Le Pondy’s hygiene standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors to maintain pristine conditions.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
2. Guest Service:
- Greet guests politely and assist with housekeeping-related requests.
- Ensure all guest needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Handle lost-and-found items in accordance with the resort’s policies.
3. Supplies and Equipment:
- Restock guest room amenities, including toiletries, coffee supplies, and bottled water.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Report any maintenance concerns or damages for prompt resolution.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Follow Le Pondy’s policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Comply with eco-friendly waste disposal and sustainability practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move furniture and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Use of cleaning tools and housekeeping equipment.
- Working in a fast-paced, high-end resort setting.
