Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Plant Finance Controller to oversee plant finance operations, costing, inventory controls, budgeting, working capital, financial reporting, and banking coordination.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing finance, plant accounting, cost control, MIS, budgeting, variance analysis, and working capital management. Exposure to Treasury Management and banking operations will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities1. Plant Finance & Cost Control
- Monitor plant accounting, production costing, BOM analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Analyze manufacturing variances, wastages, and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure proper accounting and control over RM, WIP, and Finished Goods.
- Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Drive cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives.
- Review plant expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
2. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly plant MIS, profitability analysis, and variance reports.
- Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Review provisions, reconciliations, and plant-related accounting entries.
- Provide financial insights to management for operational decision-making.
- Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
3. Budgeting & Internal Controls
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities for plant operations.
- Prepare and monitor budget vs. actual performance.
- Ensure implementation of SOPs and internal financial controls.
- Monitor CAPEX utilization and project cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial discipline.
4. Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Assist in daily cash flow planning and fund utilization.
- Coordinate with corporate treasury for vendor payments and banking requirements.
- Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, and working capital cycles.
- Support preparation/submission of stock statements, CMA data, and banking MIS.
- Coordinate with banks for plant-related treasury and operational matters.
- Monitor cash flow requirements and ensure efficient fund utilization.
5. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements related to plant operations.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, cost, and stock audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and control gaps.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, SCM, Stores, Procurement, Commercial, and Plant Operations teams.
- Support management in improving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Build financial awareness and accountability within plant operations.
- Provide financial inputs for operational and business decisions.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing Finance / Plant Finance preferred.
- Exposure to Plant Costing, Inventory and Working Capital Management.
- Treasury and banking experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience in an ERP-driven manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and business operations.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
