We are looking for a skilled VMC Programmer who can create, optimize, and manage CNC programs for precision machining operations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and CAD/CAM software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs for VMC machines using CAD/CAM software (like Mastercam / SolidWorks CAM)
- Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
- Set up tools, fixtures, and work offsets
- Optimize machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time
- Perform simulation and verification of programs before production
- Troubleshoot machining issues and modify programs accordingly
- Ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain documentation of programs and process sheets
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and G-code programming
- Experience with VMC machine operations
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds
- Basic understanding of quality inspection tools
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Relevant experience in CNC/VMC programming
Preferred Skills
- Experience in mold/die or precision component manufacturing
- Knowledge of 3-axis / 4-axis machining
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
Salary
- As per industry standards (based on experience)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
