ERA Furniture is looking for a skilled and reliable Interior Fitter to join our installation team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in furniture installation, modular interiors, carpentry, and on-site fitting.
The Interior Fitter will be responsible for installing and assembling furniture and interior products at customer locations while ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, TV units, beds, and other interior products.
- Carry out on-site fitting and installation according to drawings and specifications.
- Measure spaces accurately and make necessary adjustments during installation.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, finishing, and functionality of all installed products.
- Handle hardware, fittings, hinges, channels, locks, and other accessories correctly.
- Read and understand basic furniture and interior drawings.
- Coordinate with the production, design, and project teams.
- Identify and resolve installation issues on-site.
- Ensure work is completed within the assigned timeline.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow workplace safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
- Provide professional service and maintain a positive relationship with customers at installation sites.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Interior Fitter, Furniture Installer, Carpenter, or Modular Furniture Installer is preferred.
- Knowledge of furniture assembly, carpentry, interior fitting, and hardware installation.
- Ability to read measurements and basic technical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of handling installation and site work.
- A responsible, hardworking, and problem-solving attitude.
