Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for cattle feed and related nutrition products within the assigned territory.
- Channel Management: Identify, appoint, and manage a robust network of dealers, distributors, and rural retailers.
- Farmer Engagement: Conduct regular village-level meetings (campaigns), farm visits, and product demonstration programs to educate dairy farmers on the nutritional benefits of our feed.
- Market Expansion: Explore untapped rural and semi-urban markets to increase market penetration and product visibility.
- Order & Payment Collection: Ensure timely generation of purchase orders and follow up on payment collections to maintain healthy account receivables.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging market trends to the management team.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily activity reports, sales forecasts, and tour programs (DSR - Daily Sales Report).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Veterinary Science, Rural Management, or a related field. (General graduates with relevant industry experience may also apply).
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in Cattle Feed, Animal Nutrition, Poultry Feed, or the FMCG/Agri-input sector.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned rural/semi-urban territory (Must have a valid driver's license and a two-wheeler).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with rural communities and business partners.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Language: Fluency in the local regional language(s) and a working knowledge of [English/Hindi].
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
