We are urgently looking for Subcontract Engineer, for a reputed heavy engineering & process equipment manufacturing company.
Position : Subcontract Engineer
Education : B.Tech./B.E. Mechanical
Location : Saravali-Bhiwandi, Thane
Duration : Permanent company payroll
Salary: CTC: 6 – 8 Lacs
Experience : [5–9] years of relevant experience in estimation, preferably in [heavy equipment fabrication & EPC projects]
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate subcontracting activities for fabrication and manufacturing jobs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Float enquiries, compare quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize subcontract orders.
- Monitor vendor performance, production progress, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure subcontract work complies with quality standards, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Planning, and Purchase departments for smooth execution.
- Good knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and process equipment manufacturing.
- Experience in handling subcontract vendors and fabrication contracts.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures.
