Role Overview:
As a Python Developer specializing in Flask, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust backend services that power our core platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend engineers, to translate business requirements into high-performance API endpoints. Your daily contributions will directly influence the scalability and reliability of our applications, ensuring that our users experience seamless performance even as our data volume and traffic continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using the Flask framework to support high-traffic web applications.
- Optimize database queries and schema designs in SQL to ensure low-latency data retrieval for complex reporting modules.
- Deploy and manage backend services on AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to conduct rigorous code reviews, maintaining high standards for code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-level bottlenecks to improve the overall stability of the application ecosystem.
- Integrate third-party services and internal microservices to expand the functionality of our existing product suite.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade applications using Python and the Flask framework with 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and managing relational databases to support data-intensive operations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, RDS, and S3, for deploying and scaling backend infrastructure.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to debug complex issues and provide long-term architectural solutions.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid office environment in Bangalore, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks independently while staying aligned with team goals.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
