We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented False Ceiling Technician (also known as a Ceiling Fixer or Installer) to join our construction and interiors team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, layout marking, framework assembly, and installing various types of suspended ceilings. Your work will hide structural elements like wiring and ductwork while improving the aesthetic appeal, acoustics, and insulation of commercial places. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in utilizing power tools, interpreting architectural blueprints, and working precisely with materials like gypsum board, POP (Plaster of Paris), PVC, and metal grids.
- Site Survey & Layout: Measuring spaces, reading interior blueprints, and using laser levels to mark frame lines.
- Framework Assembly: Cutting and installing aluminum or galvanized iron (GI) metal grids and suspension wires.
- Panel Installation: Cutting and securing gypsum boards, POP sheets, PVC panels, or acoustic tiles onto the framework.
- Cutting Openings: Creating precise cutouts for light fixtures, AC vents, fans, and wiring.
- Finishing & Taping: Applying joint tape and compound to seal board gaps, then sanding them smooth for painting.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Fixing sagging frameworks and replacing water-damaged or cracked ceiling tiles.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
