Key Responsibilities
- Handle customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and submit customs documentation including:
- Shipping Bills
- Bills of Entry
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Certificate of Origin
- DGFT-related documents
- Coordinate with Customs Authorities, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, and Transporters.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Customs regulations, DGFT guidelines, and other government requirements.
- Monitor shipment movement and resolve customs-related issues promptly.
- Calculate customs duties, taxes, and applicable charges.
- Assist in obtaining required licenses, permits, and certifications.
- Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions.
- Provide guidance on customs regulations, trade compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Stay updated on changes in customs laws, import-export policies, and international trade regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian Customs procedures and regulations.
- Experience handling ICEGATE, DGFT, and customs documentation.
- Familiarity with import-export processes and logistics operations.
- Understanding of HS Codes, Customs Tariffs, Duty Structures, and Trade Compliance.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Problem-solving and documentation management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid CHA License (Preferred but not mandatory for experienced professionals).
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Commerce, or related field.
- Certification in Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding, or International Trade is an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
