We are looking for a creative and user-focused UI/UX Design Intern to support our design team in creating intuitive, engaging websites and digital experiences. You will work closely with designers, stakeholders, and developers to understand user needs and translate ideas into seamless website experiences.
This internship is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, curious about user behavior, and eager to build hands-on experience in website design.
Responsibilities

Assist in understanding website requirements, user needs, and business objectives.

Support the creation of user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journeys for websites.

Help conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis for website interfaces.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to solve usability, accessibility, navigation, and findability challenges.

Assist in designing responsive website interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to communicate design ideas and ensure accurate website implementation.

Support the preparation of design assets, documentation, and presentation materials.

Research competitor websites, design patterns, and current UI/UX trends.

Help maintain and improve website design systems, component libraries, and style guidelines.

Iterate on website designs based on stakeholder feedback, user insights, and testing outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Visual Communication, or a related field.

Basic understanding of UX design principles, user-centered design, website usability, accessibility, and responsive design.

Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Framer, or similar platforms.

Ability to create basic wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual website interface designs.

Strong visual design sense, including typography, color, layout, spacing, and hierarchy.

Ability to communicate design ideas clearly with team members and stakeholders.

Openness to feedback and willingness to learn through iteration.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is Plus.

A portfolio showcasing academic, personal, freelance, or internship website design projects is preferred.
