Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee all welding operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Monitor welder performance and provide training to improve skills and efficiency.
- Conduct weld penetration tests and ensure proper documentation of test results.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure regular calibration.
- Work closely with the production and quality teams to resolve welding-related issues.
- Enforce workplace safety measures and PPE compliance.
- Assist in developing and improving welding processes for increased productivity.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in welding supervision, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
- Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Experience in conducting weld penetration tests and quality control.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
