Role Overview
We are looking for a ServiceNow Technical Consultant with hands-on expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and/or Software Asset Management (SAM) to support end-to-end technical delivery.
This role involves working on configuration, development, integrations, and platform enhancements, contributing to scalable and upgrade-safe implementations under the guidance of senior technical leaders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Delivery
Support configuration, development, and implementation on the ServiceNow platform
Build and enhance platform components aligned with best practices
Follow development standards and participate in code reviews
Ensure platform integrity, scalability, and upgradeability
2. Integration Support
Develop and support integrations to maintain accurate asset data
Hands-on experience required in:
Import Sets & Transform Maps
REST & SOAP APIs
File-based data ingestion
IntegrationHub / MID Server
Discovery and inventory integrations
Data mapping and transformation logic
Key expectations:
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues
Correct transform and mapping errors
Stabilize upstream data sources
Prevent downstream asset/compliance issues
3. HAM / SAM Technical Expertise
Work with hardware and software asset data structures
Support model normalization and lifecycle processes
Handle entitlement and reconciliation processes
Maintain CMDB relationships and dependencies
Strong understanding of:
Hardware assets
Software installations
Models and normalization
Entitlements
CMDB relationships
4. Workflow & Automation
Develop and support catalog items related to assets/software
Implement approval and fulfillment workflows
Use Flow Designer for automation
Support UI enhancements using UI Builder
Experience Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
3+ years hands-on experience with HAM Pro or SAM Pro
Experience with integrations and transform logic
Exposure to asset lifecycle, reconciliation, or normalization
CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification – Mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in both HAM Pro and SAM Pro
4–6+ years overall ServiceNow experience
Experience in at least one asset-focused implementation
Strong integration expertise
Ability to work in client-facing environments
Certifications
Mandatory: CAD
Preferred: CSA, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM
Plus: Multiple ServiceNow certifications in asset management
Pay: ₹449,530.28 - ₹1,718,796.00 per year
