Job Description
We are looking for a sharp and active Salesman who can handle both customer interactions and digital order management. You will be responsible for showing fabric samples to clients and accurately entering those orders into our accounting/billing software.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Sampling: Showing fabric qualities, designs, and catalogs to visiting clients or "Parties."
Order Punching: Accurately entering orders into the software ([Mention your software name, e.g., Tally, Busy, or Custom ERP]).
Data Verification: Checking fabric codes, meterage, quantities, and rates before finalizing the "Kacha" or "Pakka" bill.
Stock Checking: Checking physical stock availability before committing orders to clients.
Coordination: Coordinating with the warehouse/godown to ensure the right material is dispatched.
Requirements
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and fast typing speed for order entry.
Textile Knowledge: Familiarity with fabric types (e.g., Cotton, Polyester, Silk) and units of measurement (Meters/Yards).
Attention to Detail: Zero-error mindset while punching rates and quantities.
Communication: Polite and convincing speaking style to handle customers.
