About the Role
The Design Algo is looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman to join our Architecture & Interior Design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed architectural and interior working drawings under the guidance of architects and designers.
We are looking for someone with strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of construction and interior execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural floor plans, elevations and sections
- Develop detailed GFC / working drawings for site execution
- Prepare furniture layouts and detailed furniture drawings
- Prepare electrical and lighting layouts
- Prepare plumbing and sanitary layouts
- Prepare false ceiling / RCP drawings
- Prepare flooring, wall elevation and tile layouts
- Develop door, window and staircase details
- Prepare kitchen, wardrobe, toilet and other interior details
- Incorporate revisions based on architect, client and site feedback
- Coordinate drawings across architectural, interior and service requirements
- Maintain proper layers, dimensions, annotations, line weights and drawing standards
- Organise drawing files, revisions and issue records systematically
- Coordinate with architects/designers to ensure drawings are practical for site execution
Required Skills
- Good command of AutoCAD 2D
- Understanding of architectural and interior drawings
- Basic knowledge of construction details and materials
- Ability to read plans, elevations, sections and working drawings
- Good drafting speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to dimensions and detailing
- Basic understanding of site execution and services coordination
- Ability to work within deadlines and follow established drawing standards
Qualification
Diploma / ITI / B.Arch / B.Des / Civil Engineering or relevant drafting qualification
Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills and a good understanding of architectural drawings are also encouraged to apply.
