Roles and Responsibilities
- Curriculum Planning: Design, develop, and implement lesson plans tailored to students' proficiency levels.
- Language Instruction: Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills effectively.
- Cultural Education: Integrate cultural awareness, history, and literature into the syllabus to foster appreciation for the heritage of Karnataka.
- Assessments: Create and grade assignments, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) along with a degree featuring Kannada as a core subject (e.g., BA or MA in Kannada).
- Experience: Typically requires 1 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience, especially in handling regional or vernacular languages in school.
- Skills: Strong command of both written and spoken Kannada, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using educational technology.
