Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, continuously refining and improving software to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and adaptability are key, as the engineer balances multiple priorities and contributes to the overall success of the project by integrating modern development methodologies and tools.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Knowledge of asset tokenisation (fungible, non-fungible, and hybrid), stablecoin integrations
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Security fundamentals (key mgmt., enclave/HSM concepts, secure enclaves) and data privacy patterns (selective disclosure, ZK concepts).
- Facilitate effective communication within and across teams to promote a collaborative working environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Hyperledger Besu.
- Skill set: Distributed Ledger Technology(DLT)
- Knowledge of Public / Private DLT (Ethereum / Hyperledger Besu / CORDA) and standards around the same.
- Experienced in Solidity proficiency with proven Smart contract build & delivery experience.
- Experience with blockchain architecture and distributed ledger technologies.
- Knowledge of custody architectures: MPC/HSM, wallet policy engines
- Knowledge of Cloud-native engineering (Azure/AWS/GCP), containers/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, secrets management, observability (Prometheus/Grafana)
- Strong knowledge of smart contract development and deployment.
- Familiarity with consensus algorithms and network security principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize blockchain network performance.
- Experience in integrating blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Hyperledger Besu 15+ years in software/technology 4–6+ years building blockchain solutions in regulated contexts (banks, FMIs, fintech).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
