Key Responsibilities:
As our Social Copywriter, you will be the architect of our social voice and the bridge between our in-depth stories and our massive online community. Your core duties will include:
- Storytelling for Impact: Transform our in-depth, solution-oriented stories into compelling, platform-specific social media copy (posts, threads, carousels, etc.) that drives engagement and action.
- Hook Crafting: Write irresistible, thumb-stopping headlines and captions that accurately represent the story and compel users to read, watch, and share.
- Trend-Spotting & Cultural Jujitsu: Proactively identify and analyze viral trends and conversations, and creatively adapt them to amplify our positive and constructive narratives.
- Rigorous Fact-Checking: Ensuring every claim, statistic, and quote in your copy is 100% accurate and credible.
- Collaborative Ideation: Work closely with the social media, design and editorial teams to brainstorm and execute innovative, multi-format content campaigns.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2-4 years) as a social copywriter, content writer, or similar role, preferably with a media/news/purpose-driven brand.
