With a strong presence across e-commerce marketplaces and retail channels, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to build and strengthen our people processes and support our growth journey.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR professional with 5–8 years of experience in end-to-end Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Compliance, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and HR Operations. The ideal candidate should have experience working in fast-paced startups, D2C, retail, or consumer goods organizations and should be capable of managing the complete employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
● Manage end-to-end recruitment across functions including E-commerce, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Corporate roles. ● Develop sourcing strategies and maintain talent pipelines. ● Coordinate with hiring managers and external recruitment partners. ● Ensure timely closure of positions and maintain recruitment metrics. Payroll & Compensation
● Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
● Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal finance teams.
● Handle salary structures, reimbursements, F&F settlements, and statutory deductions.
● Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data.
Statutory Compliance
● Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, and Labour Laws.
● Coordinate with consultants and authorities for statutory filings and audits.
● Maintain employee records and ensure HR process compliance.
● Handle inspections and support legal and regulatory requirements. HR Operations ● Manage employee onboarding, induction, and exit formalities.
● Handle documentation including appointment letters, increment letters, transfer letters, and experience letters.
● Maintain HRIS, attendance, leave records, and employee databases.
● Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement
● Foster a positive and engaging work culture.
● Address employee grievances and provide HR support.
● Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events. ● Promote employee wellness and retention initiatives. Performance Management ● Drive the performance appraisal cycle and goal-setting process. ● Partner with department heads to monitor employee performance. ● Support learning and development initiatives. ● Identify succession planning and talent development opportunities.
Policies & Process Development
● Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs.
● Ensure policy adherence and maintain HR governance.
● Create employee handbooks and HR process documentation.
HR Analytics & MIS
● Prepare monthly HR dashboards and MIS reports.
● Monitor attrition, headcount, recruitment metrics, and manpower planning.
● Analyze HR data and provide insights to management.
Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of Labour Laws and statutory compliances.
● Hands-on experience in payroll processing and HR operations.
● Expertise in end-to-end recruitment and stakeholder management.
● Experience with HRMS, attendance, and payroll systems.
● Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and HR reporting.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Educational Qualification
● MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
