Job Summary
CTL India Pvt. Ltd. – Tropic Knits Division is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Central Planning to join our team. The role involves production planning, factory and line allocation, production coordination, and ensuring on-time execution of customer orders. You will work closely with the Merchandising, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sourcing teams to achieve efficient production planning and maintain customer delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate factories and production lines for confirmed customer orders.
- Prepare and monitor production plans and schedules based on factory capacity and IE recommendations.
- Coordinate with Merchandising to track and maintain customer TNA (Time & Action Calendar).
- Update planning activities and order status in the ERP system.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Fabric Sourcing, and Purchase teams to ensure timely material availability (JIT).
- Ensure complete input package availability before releasing orders to production.
- Monitor daily Ex-Factory shipments and monthly sales performance.
- Coordinate and prepare reports for weekly management review meetings.
- Visit manufacturing units whenever required to support planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, or a related field (B.F.Tech/B.Tech preferred).
- Understanding of production planning and basic merchandising workflow.
- Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of ERP systems or production planning software is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing units as required.
