Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Associate to join our litigation practice. The candidate must possess substantial exposure to High Court litigation and strong drafting capabilities. The role involves active participation in litigation matters, legal research, court appearances, client coordination, and case management.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience in High Court matters.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on drafting experience, including drafting of petitions, applications, replies, rejoinders, legal notices, written submissions, and other litigation-related documents.
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Enrolment with the Bar Council.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently handle assigned matters and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and vetting petitions, writs, applications, replies, rejoinders, legal notices, and miscellaneous pleadings.
- Assisting and appearing in matters before the High Court, District Courts, Tribunals, and other judicial forums.
- Conducting legal research and preparing case briefs and legal opinions.
- Managing court filings, procedural compliances, and case documentation.
- Coordinating with clients, court officials, advocates, and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring case progress and ensuring timely action on all assigned matters.
Location Requirement (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must be residing in South Delhi and should be located within close commuting distance of the office. Applications from candidates residing outside South Delhi will not be considered.
