Role Summary
Proxgy is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dynamic Store Manager to oversee our central inventory and warehouse operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our physical supply chain, managing the lifecycle of our innovative deep-tech IoT hardware products, smart wearables, and industrial safety devices (such as SmartHats, ProHats, smart locks, and tracking units).
You will be responsible for end-to-end store operations, stock accuracy, seamless inward and outward dispatches, RTO handling, and efficient tracking of device movements across internal departments like R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store & Inventory Management
- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through systematic stock-taking, cycle counting, and ledger reconciliations.
- Organize and maintain the physical store layout for optimal storage, easy retrieval, and safety of sensitive electronic components, finished IoT devices, and raw materials.
- Implement robust Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP-driven tracking procedures to monitor stock levels in real time.
- Prevent stock obsolescence, shrinkage, or damage through proactive stock rotations and secure storage practices.
2. Inward and Outward Dispatches
- Supervise all inward shipments, ensuring rigorous quality checks on incoming raw materials, components, and vendor supplies against purchase orders (POs).
- Manage outward dispatches for B2B clients, field deployments, and e-commerce channels, ensuring timely, secure, and cost-effective shipping.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and courier services to ensure hassle-free final-mile delivery.
- Ensure all dispatch documentation (eway bills, tax invoices, delivery challans, and packing slips) is meticulously generated and archived.
3. RTO (Return to Origin) Management
- Streamline the RTO and reverse logistics process by efficiently tracking, receiving, and inspecting returned shipments from clients or transit hubs.
- Categorize returned devices based on condition (e.g., for restocking, refurbishment, or scrapping) and coordinate with the technical/repair teams for rapid turnaround.
- Maintain comprehensive logs and metrics for RTO rates, identifying root causes to minimize future delivery failures.
4. Internal Device Movement & Inter-Departmental Coordination
- Track and oversee the issuance, transfer, and return of devices across internal departments (R&D, Production, QA, and Sales/Demo teams).
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody logs for prototype hardware, testing units, and high-value demonstration kits moving within the organization.
- Conduct regular internal audits to reconcile physical assets assigned to various teams versus system records.
