Chitkara University is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photographer to capture high-quality images .The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging visual content for social media and institutional documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture professional photographs of university events, seminars, workshops.
- Conduct photoshoots for students, faculty.
- Edit and retouch images using professional software to ensure high-quality output
- Maintain and organize a digital archive of images
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team for content planning
- Ensure consistency with the university’s brand guidelines and visual identity
- Handle photography equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Assist in videography or multimedia projects when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Media, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a photographer (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in photo editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera handling
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple assignments
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 -2 year of Experience in educational or institutional photography
- Basic knowledge of videography and content creation
- Familiarity with social media content trends
