We are building a professional operations team and are looking for a responsible and disciplined Heavy Vehicle Driver.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicle safely for furniture delivery.
- Load and unload furniture with the help of helpers.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to avoid damage.
- Deliver furniture on time as per the dispatch schedule.
- Verify delivery items before leaving the warehouse.
- Collect customer delivery confirmation after installation/delivery.
- Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance issues.
- Follow company safety and discipline policies.
- Assist in warehouse and dispatch work when required.
Requirements
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV).
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Experience in furniture or logistics industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes in Ujjain and nearby cities.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
- Physically fit to assist in loading and unloading.
- No history of rash driving or major traffic violations.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of delivery documentation.
- Good behaviour with customers.
- Ability to work with warehouse and dispatch team.
- Honest and trustworthy.
