A hotel painter is a specialized role within the Engineering & Maintenance department. They are responsible for preserving the aesthetic appearance of the property—including guest rooms, lobbies, and exteriors—by conducting surface repairs, mixing paints, and applying flawless finishes while minimizing disruption to guests.
- Surface Preparation: Scrape old paint, sand rough areas, fill cracks or holes with putty/plaster, and apply primers for proper adhesion.
- Painting & Finishing: Apply paint, varnishes, sealants, and wallpapers to walls, ceilings, trims, and doors using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Wood Polishing: Often functioning as a Painter & Polisher, they maintain and refinish wooden furniture, fixtures, and floors.
- Touch-ups & Preventive Maintenance: Regularly walk the property to identify scuffs, chips, or water damage and execute prompt touch-ups.
- Supply Management: Calculate material requirements, order paint supplies, and maintain inventory.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
