As we continue to expand our facilities, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Engineering professional to lead our infrastructure development and maintenance initiatives.
Position Overview
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all civil construction, renovation, and infrastructure maintenance activities. The role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining facilities to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of new construction, expansion, renovation, and interior modification projects.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of buildings and external infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for civil structures, plumbing systems, water supply, and drainage networks.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare estimates and BOQs, and ensure optimum resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, fire and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor construction quality, material specifications, and adherence to approved drawings and timelines.
- Lead and supervise site supervisors, technicians, and contractors while ensuring smooth execution of all civil works.
- Identify infrastructure improvement opportunities and implement projects that enhance operational efficiency and patient experience.
Who We're Looking For
Education:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering OR B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 5–8+ years of experience in civil engineering projects and maintenance.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Prior experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, hotels, commercial buildings, or large infrastructure projects will be preferred.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction management and building maintenance.
- Experience in plumbing, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, project estimation, and contractor management.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and project planning tools.
