Job Summary
The Psychological Counselor will provide emotional and psychological support to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments. The role involves counseling patients throughout their fertility journey, helping them cope with stress, anxiety, treatment outcomes, and emotional challenges associated with infertility and assisted reproductive procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and couple counseling sessions for infertility-related emotional and psychological concerns.
- Assess patients' mental and emotional well-being and identify areas requiring support.
- Help patients manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and treatment-related emotional challenges.
- Offer pre-treatment and post-treatment counseling for IVF, IUI, and other fertility procedures.
- Support patients in coping with unsuccessful treatment cycles, pregnancy loss, and other sensitive situations.
- Conduct psychological assessments and maintain confidential counseling records.
- Educate patients on coping strategies, stress management, and emotional resilience.
- Collaborate with fertility specialists, nurses, and counselors to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in patient education programs, workshops, and awareness initiatives.
- Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- Certification or training in counseling and psychotherapy preferred.
- 2–5 years of counseling experience, preferably in healthcare, fertility, women's health, or mental health settings.
- Experience in IVF/Fertility healthcare will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
